I have been overwhelmed by the many condolence messages and offers of help. Thank you!
In the weeks before his untimely passing, David and I had started making plans to turn his childhood home on Fire Island, New York, into a place for intellectuals, activists, artists to meet and imagine new futures together. With your help, I would like to pursue this project to honor his memory. Most of all I am looking for an organization not too far from Fire Island that could help set up a foundation, coordinate the fundraising efforts, and collect all your ideas and contributions.
