Unless...

We just returned from watching The Lorax which was a big hit for our crew. We frequently read two of Dr. Seuss' books (among others), The Lorax and The Bippolo Seed, to our boys. Both books act as cautionary tales which warn against the dangers of wanton greed. We'll see how the lessons will take with the boys, but I'm hoping it will help put them on a good path.

While watching the movie, I thought of the following Greek Proverb.

After watching the film, it occurred to me that this proverb is due for a 21st century update. With all due respect, here's my twist on this classic phrase.

Yep. That gets at the heart of it for me. With that I have question. Are you planting trees for the future, or are you chopping all of them down?
